About Us

I am a Juris Doctor graduate from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. My journey to this milestone was anything but conventional. Originally from Vietnam, I worked as a Chinese and English interpreter for prominent clients like Nike and Puma. However, in 2017, life took a transformative turn when I moved to Australia on a Working Holiday visa.

My early days in Australia began as a farm worker in Far North Queensland, a world apart from my previous career. I still remember the feeling of  carrying a 10 kg kangaroo bag, picking avocados in the summer rain in Dimbulah, and harvesting blueberries under the Queensland sun. Despite the physical challenges, I never lost my secret dream of becoming a lawyer. After two strenuous years of farm work, I faced a pivotal choice: to return to Vietnam or to pursue my dream.

Although my initial experiences in Australia were unexpected and sometimes discouraging, meeting successful Vietnamese individuals living abroad changed my outlook. Inspired, I chose to invest my savings in a Juris Doctor degree at Macquarie University, turning down an attractive hospitality job offer to focus fully on my law degree.

This dedication to giving back led me to establish Hoc Cung Nam-Study with Nam, a platform designed to support others who, like me, dream of succeeding in a new country. Today, I am not only pursuing my passion for law but have also made Australia my home, where I’m ready to help others achieve their aspirations.

On my journey in Australia, I've encountered people who started their lives here at all levels and in various roles—finance managers, farmers, waitstaff, and nail technicians. Some are content with their choices, while others feel disappointed. My message is simple: regardless of what you’ve done, who you were, or where you came from, never lose sight of your original dream.
